earnicoins are the in-game currency of Earniverse, the equivalent of V-Bucks in Fortnite. They are used to cover all your in-game expenses: unlocking and buying in-game items, and any other purchases inside the Earniverse experience.
Where you can use earnicoins
earnicoins are spent in-game, inside the Unreal Engine experience. They cover items, content, and other in-game purchases available to players.
You can top up your earnicoins balance in two ways:
- Buy a pack inside the Earniverse game (Unreal Engine).
- Buy a pack on the Earniverse marketplace.
Both routes credit your earnicoins balance, which is the same balance whether you are in-game or on the marketplace.
Where to see your balance
You can check your earnicoins balance in two places:
- Profile menu in the header (top right of the app). Open the dropdown to see your current balance.
- Settings → Profile, where your balance is also displayed.
How to get earnicoins
You can build up your earnicoins balance in two ways: earn them for free by contributing to the platform, or buy a pack when you need more.
Earn earnicoins by contributing
There are three ways to earn earnicoins for free today:
- Refer friends: earn earnicoins when a friend signs up and verifies their account using your referral link.
- Report bugs: earn earnicoins when you report a bug that our team confirms.
- Suggest features: earn earnicoins when one of your feature ideas is selected for our roadmap.

Buy earnicoins packs
You can also buy earnicoins packs to top up your balance. Packs are available in two places:
- Inside the Earniverse game (Unreal Engine).
- On the Earniverse marketplace.
Both routes credit the same earnicoins balance.
