Earnimarket asks every member for their age range, once. It helps us follow the rules that protect minors and gives you the right experience for your age. We only ask for your age range, never for your date of birth.
When we ask
- The first time you sign in, a window opens with the title Welcome to Earniverse!
- If you already had an account, the same window has the title Update your information
- The window stays open until you have declared your age range. It cannot be closed or skipped.
- The age range is the first field of the window.
Step 1: Declare your age range
- Open the age range list at the top of the window.
- Choose your age range: 18 or older, 13 to 17, Under 13.
- Check your username and, if you like, add your first and last name.
- Tick I declare that the personal information I have provided is accurate.
- Click Save and continue.
What each age range means
- 18 or older: you can explore, buy and sell. To sell, you also complete a few seller steps, see Identity verification for sellers.
- 13 to 17: your profile is created and you can explore and buy right away. To sell your items, a legal guardian needs to confirm your account. You can invite them now. To do it later, click Continue without selling for now. For more details, see Minors and legal guardians.
- Under 13: a parent or legal guardian must create and confirm your account before you can continue. We only record your age range: no other personal information is saved until your guardian confirms. You will be asked for your guardian's email address.
Good to know
- You declare your age range only once and you cannot change it yourself afterwards. If you made a mistake, please contact our support team.
- Buying never depends on the seller steps. Selling becomes available once your age range is declared and the seller steps are complete.
- If you have already declared your age range, it is shown and locked the next time the window opens.
- Email tracking, which helps us improve our emails, is only offered to members aged 18 or older.
