Do you need a wallet?

A wallet is what stores your Collectibles and lets you transact on the marketplace. With Earniverse, you have two ways to get one:

  • Use just your email (recommended for most users). When you sign up with your email, Earniverse creates and manages a wallet for you through EarniConnect. There is nothing to install and nothing to configure. This is the simplest way to start owning and exchanging 3D Collectibles.
  • Connect your own wallet (advanced). If you already use a self-custody crypto wallet, you can connect it instead. Supported wallets include MetaMask, Coinbase, TrustWallet, and Binance.

Either way, you are ready to use the marketplace.

You do not need AVAX for fees

Earniverse covers the gas (network) fees for your marketplace transactions. You do not need to hold AVAX to buy, bid, make an offer, or transfer your Collectibles. This keeps things simple, especially if you are new to crypto.

To pay for purchases, the marketplace supports several payment methods at checkout, depending on the seller. You can learn more in the Buying & Selling section of this help center.

Advanced: self-custody with MetaMask

This section is optional. Follow it only if you want to connect your own MetaMask wallet and manage your assets yourself on the Avalanche C-Chain network.

Step 1: Install the MetaMask wallet in your browser

To install MetaMask, follow the official guide: Getting started with MetaMask.

Step 2: Add the Avalanche C-Chain network to MetaMask

To add the Avalanche C-Chain network to MetaMask, follow the official guide: How do I set up MetaMask on Avalanche.

You can also add the network manually from inside MetaMask:

  1. Make sure you are logged in to your MetaMask wallet.
  2. Click the Menu icon in the top right corner (the 3 small dots).
  3. Select Settings from the menu.
  4. Choose Networks.
  5. Click Add a Network.
  6. Select Avalanche C-Chain and click Add.
  7. Click Switch to Avalanche C-Chain Network.

You are now connected to Avalanche (you will see the red logo in the top left corner).

Step 3: Connect your wallet to Earniverse

Once MetaMask is set up, you can connect it during sign-in. See Create my account and login for the wallet connection steps.
