As all hardwares and equipments are different, you will need to make sure your computer is properly configured to run Earniverse.
Please note that the quality of experience will be different based on the various configurations and parameters set by the user.
Here are some guidelines you need to follow-up.
Make sure my hardware is compatible #
First you need to make sure your hardware is compatible and follow this link to see if your computer is within the minimum technical requirements
Switch my PC to High Performance mode #
- Open Control panel and go to Power Options.
- Then choose the High Performance plan:
Update drivers with Nvidia Experience software #
- Follow this link: https://www.nvidia.com/fr-fr/geforce/geforce-experience/
- Download and Install the software
- Make sure you have the latest drivers configured
Configure Nvidia Control Panel #
- Open Nvidia Control Panel (Tutorial here)
- Make sure Nvidia Control Panel power management mode is set to performance (screenshot below)
- Make sure at least the OPENGL Rendering GPU Parameter IS SET to use your current graphic card (screenshot below)
Note: For those who want to follow a tutorial with some of the best config sample online available for gamers, you can check THIS TUTORIAL to enhance your configuration (not all changes of this tutorial are necessary or possible as it will depend on the specificity of your hardware)
I have done all that and still have an error when launching Earniverse! #
If you still encounter an issue after following all above steps, you will need to make other configurations to run Earniverse.
- First, please make sure you have properly followed the above steps and completed them fully
- Then, follow below guidelines, if error still persists
Force Direct X 11 #
Follow below screenshots to configure this parameter (-DX11) on epic game launcher:
- Step 1 : Open Epic Game Launcher and check configuration of Earniverse (click on the three dots)
- Step 2 : Select Menu option “Manage” to change the launching settings
- Step 3 : Force use of direct X 11 by addind (-DX11) parameter
- Step 4 – Try to restart Earniverse after this configuration and move to the next step if the error persist
Modify your BIOS settings #
If the error still persists after going through all previous configuration, your computer must have a BIOS parameter to be changed. Follow this guideline to enable it and use maximum performance on your computer.

- Follow this tutorial at (0 min 26 sec) to Enable XMP
- Follow the same tutorial at (0 min 46 sec) to change DOCP (We highly suggest you to try we the 2 modes at the end of your configuration)
- If this option is disabled by default ==> Enable it
